Fall is for hiking mountain trails and leaves changing color … and that is how PASSPORT TO PARK AVENUE was born: on Smuggler Trail in Aspen, Colorado. A quick call to artistic visionary Michael Bessire led to sitting down at Panera Bread on Park Avenue, where we created our first prototype. We both had spent 25-plus years at national magazines, knew the web was taking over, and saw an opportunity to fill a niche by designing a luxury guide to Winter Park and its newest hotel, The Alfond Inn.

Fast-forward five years to what is now PASSPORT WINTER PARK, and we have expanded our real estate participation to custom home builders, interior design firms and renowned architects. We have broadened distribution to luxury hotels from Disney to downtown Orlando and have become a go-to resource for locals and visitors alike.

Armed with backgrounds in the national magazine industry, the talented team you see here are the best in the business, proving that PRINT IS ALIVE WHEN DONE RIGHT. Continuing with our polished aesthetic, portable size, and expert design and photography, we’re looking forward to the next five years with anticipation. Thank YOU for all your support, and keep your eyes peeled for what’s next.

For 11 years, this guide has been distributed both in-room and at the concierge desk, helping visitors explore the area’s offerings. As we celebrate over a decade of this partnership, we remain committed to providing this essential resource for an enhanced guest experience. The Alfond Inn opened its doors in 2013 and has since unveiled a $36 million expansion including a lavish spa, a Chic Cafe and 71 additional rooms, totaling 183 guest rooms.”
