Victor Bokas

Visitors from around the world are greeted at Orlando International Airport by an impressive 85-foot-long mosaic, the work of local artist Victor Bokas. The mosaic floor, titled Florida Vacation, is masterfully rendered in natural stone and glazed enamel by Italian artisans. Another of Victor’s artworks, a wall installation, can be found in Terminal C. Victor’s art is also featured in several galleries around the U.S., Orlando City Hall, Orange County Convention Center, the Maitland Art & History Museum, and in private collections across the country. The only artist to be chosen twice for the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival poster, Victor draws inspiration from the vibrant and colorful landscape of his home state of Florida. His career path over the past 35 years includes senior art director roles at both SeaWorld and Tupperware Brands.

Spring/Summer

Barbara Krupp

Acrylic artist Barbara Krupp is inspired by colors and shapes and uses the structure of a painting as her guide. In her most recent series “Abstract Stories,” she has allowed the bones of the painting — both compositionally and metaphorically — to become the subject matter. Much as with Georgia O’Keefe, Krupp has come to realize that the significance in her paintings is not in the forms themselves but rather in the spaces between them. “Abstract Stories” is the culmination of a more than 40-year career perfecting the sensuous use of color on canvas.
